All low-income households in a situation of relative poverty (ISTAT), i.e. with an annual income of less than EUR 8,112.23, as certified by the Equivalent Financial Status Indicator (ISEE), are entitled to:
- a 50% discount on the landline phone network access charge, which is reduced from EUR 18,87to EUR 9.44;
- 30 minutes of free landline phone calls to all national landline and mobile numbers.
Wherever technically possible, TIM will apply a 50% reduction to the monthly subscription price of the Alice 7 Mega Internet package, in addition to other measures provided by the Authority referred to above.
Documentation to be submitted
As specified in Article 5 of Resolution No 258/18/CONS (Italian only), if you wish to take advantage of benefits for low-income families, you must submit the following to TIM SpA., the operator currently in charge of providing the Universal Service:
- the form provided by TIM SpA (Italian only);
- the ISEE certificate (Italian only);
- a valid form of identity.
The documentation must be sent to the free fax number 800 000 314 or by post to: TIM casella postale 111 – 00054 Fiumicino (Rome).
