Support for deaf and blind users

Is there any support available for users with disabilities?

Yes. Agcom has adopted specific measures to ensure, under equal conditions with other users, access to, and use of electronic communications services by deaf and blind or partially-sighted users. Deaf and blind users have access to both a fixed network and a mobile network facility, while partially-sighted users can access only one type of facility (either the fixed-line or the mobile network).

Measures concern;

  •  mobile and personal communications services;
  • data transmission and internet access from fixed and mobile locations;
  • communication services falling within the scope of the universal service.
